About us
Fire Risk Assessment London helps landlords, businesses, managing agents and responsible persons understand and manage fire safety across properties throughout London.
Fire Risk Assessment London was established by Daniel Mercer after years spent working with property teams across the capital. He repeatedly saw the same problem: clients were receiving lengthy fire safety reports but were still unsure which actions mattered most, which issues needed attention first, and how to turn recommendations into a workable plan.
He built the business around a simpler idea — inspect carefully, explain clearly, and make the next steps useful. A report that a property manager cannot act on has failed, however technically sound it is.

More detail on how we assign assessors and what you can ask us is on the Meet the Team page.
This is a service-area business. We do not operate a staffed office in London — our assessors work on site, across the London boroughs, every week.
Whoever inspects your building writes the report that follows, and is available afterwards to talk the findings through.
Recommendations are specific and ordered, so you know what to deal with first rather than facing an undifferentiated list.
Where findings call for work, we can help with fire doors, emergency lighting, ongoing fire risk management and consultation.
We work across Greater London, from converted residential buildings and communal areas to offices, shops, hospitality premises and larger managed portfolios.
Tell us the building type and what you need assessed, and we will help you plan the right next step.
